Sweet Home Guantanamo

Editors' Note: A few people have complained about this song, some claiming that it's pro-terrorist, others claiming that it's anti-Muslim. If either were true, we wouldn't allow it on our site. However, if you read the lyrics carefully, you'll see that the writer is clearly bashing George W. Bush for his foreign policy and alleged mistreatment of innocent Muslims in Guantanamo. Such criticism is allowed because Bush is a public figure. As always, all opinions expressed herein are those of the authors, and do not necessarily reflect the opinions of SpicePuppy.com.

George W. Bush

(To the tune of "Sweet Home Alabama" by Lynyrd Skynyrd)

Big thugs broke my door down
Carried me off with my kin
Man, it ain't no fun to be a Muslim
And be profiled once again
And I think it's a sin, yes

Well, I heard Mr. Bush talk about us
Well, I heard ole George put us down
Well, I hope George Bush will remember
The Constitution's still around
And I think he's a clown

Sweet home Guantanamo
Where they beat us black and blue
Sweet home Guantanamo
Lord, I wish it wasn't true

The terrorists all love the White House
You've got the whole world hatin' you
Now 9/11 ain't my doin'
Does your conscience bother you?
Tell the truth

Sweet home Guantanamo
Where they beat us black and blue
Sweet home Guantanamo
Lord, I wish it wasn't true
